Paradise Drive, which combines my watercolors and Rebecca Foust’s poems, is included in “On the Tip of My Tongue,” a show at Carnation Contemporary in Portland, Oregon. Co-curators Katherine Spinella and Kristin Hough describe the exhibition as an exploration of “the space that resides between thought and speech, intent and action, self and other, land and nation.” The opening reception is December 7 from 6:00 - 9:00pm and the show is up until December 22nd. Carnation Contemporary was founded in 2018 by a collective of Portland-based artists who champion critical and contemporary artwork.
